Legal Assistant – Miami Beach, FL
Job Description
The Legal Assistant will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, drafting internal memoranda, conducting legal research, and managing case files under attorney supervision.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal correspondence, assisting in the review and summarization of contracts and legal documents, and maintaining both paper and electronic filing systems in accordance with firm procedures.
The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and research support to attorneys, ensuring accurate document management and efficient case organization.
In support of matters involving international or cross-border legal issues, the Legal Assistant will conduct comparative legal research, including research related to Italian law, for internal use by attorneys. Such research will be limited to summarizing foreign legal sources and materials and will not involve the provision of legal advice or independent legal judgment.
Strong legal writing and research skills are required, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced professional environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Legal Assistant.
No alternative education or experience will be accepted.
