Born in Bogota, Colombia. In 2002, received her Juris Doctor and Political Science degree from Santo Tomas University in Bogota, Colombia. After moving to the United States, Monica obtained her second Juris Doctor in Miami and is currently an active member of the Florida Bar.
Her practice focuses on real estate, corporate, commercial, immigration and intellectual property law. She also works in the establishment of asset protection trusts.
She has relevant experience in international commercial transactions and real estate projects in Panama City. Currently is the vice-president of “La Estancia Golf Resort” project in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
She is also vice-president of Piero Salussolia Corporate Management Inc. since 2009, managing domestic and foreign companies and private foundations.
Speaker on “Investment in the United States” seminar in Bogota, Colombia in 2011. Has been co-author of several publications on IUS GENTIUM edition in english and spanish. She is currently an active member of the Italian and Colombian Chamber of Commerce.
Has been awarded for her achievements in promoting the culture of the latino american business community. Worked in a prestigious law firm in Colombia, conducting settlements and conflict resolutions in civil matters. Fluent in Spanish and english and conversational Italian.
